In 2010, CRTS became an associate member of The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and the Commission on Accrediting of ATS. CRTS was granted candidacy status by ATS in 2011, and is seeking to become a fully accredited member of ATS in 2013.

Statement of Educational Effectiveness
CRTS is committed to instruction that stresses the preparation of students for their service as ministers of the Word. The churches are convinced that this preparation should aim for the highest academic standards possible. Since 1971, CRTS has placed 82% of its graduates via ordination in congregations or mission contexts. Since 2000, 81% of students who enrolled in the M.Div. program, have completed their degree.
