New Professors Appointed

The Theological College is pleased that General Synod 2010 has approved the appointment of Dr. Jannes Smith of Albany, Australia as professor of Old Testament and of Dr. Jason Van Vliet as professor of Dogmatics.

Dr. J. Van Vliet has accepted his appointment. 

Dr. J. Smith has also accepted his appointment. Dr. Smith has served the church in Albany, Western Australia for five years. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Toronto in 2005, with a dissertation entitled A Linguistic and Exegetical Commentary on the Hallelouia Psalms of the Septuagint.

The Board of Governors has appointed Dr. Nelson Kloosterman to teach Church Polity on a part-time basis during the academic year 2010/2011.
