Essays are special pieces of writing that seek to persuade readers. Well-written essays advance knowledge about key events and persons in a way that keeps readers keenly interested as the essay unpacks its arguments. Perhaps you will write a convincing essay for which you might create a display board for an assembly or local Reformation rally at the end of October. Maybe yours will be published. Do your best!
Essays that research aspects of the Reformation can be written by anyone who is a high school senior, who is in post-secondary education, or who fits the category of “advanced open.” The advanced open category is for anyone practiced in an art form but not currently enrolled in higher education. Post-secondary and advanced open entries should be sent directly to Celebrate1517@gmail.com.
