We are excited that once again the focus at CRTS has turned toward a new academic year.  It all begins with Convocation 2018 on Sept 7 at 8PM in the regular location: Redeemer University College.  The following Monday, Sept 10, we have Orientation Day for our new students, and on Tuesday regular classes commence.  As we begin the new semester, please include us in your personal and public prayers.  In particular, we may bring before our gracious God:

  • Our thankfulness that we have admitted 6 new students into the M.Div. program, 1 into the Diploma program, and 2 students from Korea who hope to spend one year with us before returning to their own seminary back home.
  • Our request that the Lord would guide two of our incoming students, Kim Lapiz from the Philippines and Jaeyong Jung from Korea, through the final logistical steps before they arrive. They experienced some unexpected delays with visa processing.
  • Our gratitude that almost all of our returning students have been involved in some kind of internship opportunity (e.g., orientation, mission, or full-summer) and have been greatly blessed through these experiences.
  • Our earnest desire that the Lord of the church, through his Spirit, would bless the faculty, staff, and students of CRTS with fruitful year as we explore the treasures of his Word together.

You are warmly invited to join us at the Convocation evening.   We hope to see you in person, but if you cannot make it, please join via livestream.  The link will appear on the home page (  Also, if you are in the Hamilton area at any point during the academic year, and you would like to stop in for a visit, please do.  Our doors are open from 8:30AM-4:30PM on regular school days.
