"Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong."
1 Corinthians 16:13

"Stand Firm: Sexuality, Gender, and Identity in Biblical Perspective," is the title of the 2021 CRTS Conference. In this conference we aim very much to help everyone—not just pastors, but also teachers, students, and parents. Every person is affected by the enormous confusion in our culture. Issues around sexuality and gender form the leading edge of a great confusion about truth. Sometimes we don't know where to start a discussion or how to respond in a biblical way because the very words, ideas, and assumptions for discussion are already against the biblical worldview. How can we continue to show the beauty of God's good moral order, the goodness of his true Word, and the truth of reality itself when truth is said to be fabricated by whoever has the most power? What then is truth? We are living in an age when godless ideas are being consistently pushed to their logical and destructive conclusions.

The 2021 CRTS Conference has been designed to equip believers to stand firm in the truth of God's Word about identity, sexuality, and gender. Those who attend will come to understand the roots and effects of the current confusion. At the same time they will be directed to the throne of the sovereign Lord for conviction and strength, and will be equipped to respond with love and hope in this world.

As we at CRTS seek to be a blessing to you, we have secured as main speaker Nancy Pearcey, a highly-qualified presenter on issues of Christian worldview and culture. Pearcey is an award-winning Christian author. Her books, such as Saving Leonardo, Total Truth, Finding Truth, and Love Thy Body have won awards; one of them is used in the apologetics course at CRTS. And we think our other three speakers are likewise well equipped to address their topics, to lay on our hearts the beautiful, enlivening, free gospel message of our gracious renewal in Christ. Please see their full bios here.

Please join us January 14 and 15, 2021 in Hamilton, Ontario.

We are also pleased to announce that the Reformed Cirriculum Development Committee (RCDC) and the League of Canadian Reformed School Societies (LCRSS), in collaboration with Covenant Canadian Reformed Teachers College (CCRTC), are presenting a one day  'conference addendum' for educators. This will take place on Monday, January 18, 2021. Building on the presentations at the CRTS conference, participants will grapple with what they learned and consider how to apply it to their classroom and schools. Additional information will be made available in late August.
