With just over thirty students enrolled at our seminary, we have welcomed within our walls the largest group in the history of our seminary. And yes, we are back in the building for in-person instruction (!) with one student joining us online from South Africa. After a year of being in and out of the building due to various lockdowns, we are so thankful to be together again. You can almost feel in the air: students lingering longer in the halls to chat, spending more time in the library, and enjoying lunch together on campus. It is also so good to have Dr. Van Raalte back in our midst and picking up his teaching role again. With all this in mind, please remember the following in your prayers:

  • Thank the King of the church for the increasing number of students pursuing studies for gospel ministry and ask that this trend would continue.
  • Ask the Lord to prevent either serious illness or further lockdowns from disrupting our academic year.
  • Pray for our heavenly Father's blessing on our "Partnership in the Gospel" campaign to help update and renovate the CRTS building.
  • Earnestly request that the Holy Spirit would help our students as they already begin to serve the churches through helping with pulpit supply, catechism classes, and outreach efforts.

We continue to express our deep appreciation for the prayers and faithful financial gifts we receive from our supporting churches. It is a great privilege and responsibility to serve in the midst of God's people, redeemed by the precious sacrifice of the Only-Begotten Son and renewed by the power of the Spirit.
